Guyanese food and drinks are available until closing time. Try our  salt fish & bakes, BBQ chicken, curry and roti, cook-up rice, black pudding etc. Quench your thirst with water coconuts and Guyanese ‘local’ drinks.  Introduce Guyanese snacks of your childhood to your children and grandchildren (if you have them).  If you are not Guyanese try some - you are sure to enjoy them.   The bar area, located outdoors can comfortably accommodate 1,000 people at any given time.

Relive the ‘good ole days’.  Meet and greet long lost friends and also make new ones. Kick back and enjoy the entertainment that will keep you jammin’ !

Last Lap LimeTM is a family day with many activities for all.  It's an opportunity to celebrate your Guyanese heritage.

Last Lap LimeTM is truly a meeting place where Guyanese from all over the world congregate and reminisce with friends.

In celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Last Lap LimeTM paid tribute to the native people of Guyana by erecting a benab* which was sponsored by Laparkan.  This is the first benab to be built outside of Guyana.  This symbol of Guyana is now in integral part of Last Lap LimeTM and a permanent fixture at Woodbridge Fairgrounds.  The benab was designed by Gerry Triesman and Fred Atkinson (a native Amerindian) and built by the following volunteers –  Gerry Triesman, Fred Atkinson, Gerry Van Lubeek, Howard Welshman, Conrad Joseph, Steve Grainer, Renato Vieira and Gabriel Vieira.

For local and overseas Guyanese, the Last Lap LimeTM has become part of their holiday planning and is a much anticipated annual event.

See you there!!!!!!!

*A benab is a Wai Wai hut. The Wai Wais are one of Guyana's nine indigenous peoples also known as Amerindians. They live primarily in the Essequibo and Rupununi regions of Guyana. A benab was built in Georgetown in August 1972 to mark the Non Aligned Foreign Ministers Conference. It is called UMANA YANA - " the meeting place of people".

Come spend the day with us!
