Ticket Sales

LAST LAP LIME TICKETS - $10 BEFORE, $20 AT GATE. WHY?

We commit over $100,000 in "out of pocket" expenses and food costs before a single LLL ticket is SOLD. Presold tickets ($10) allow us to PLAN better and EXECUTE according to plan.

We advertise both prices EXTENSIVELY before the Lime. Each alumni association guarantees to buy 500 $10 tickets whether they sell them or not. Out-of-town Limers can preorder tickets by sending in their cheques. All this to alleviate the $100,000 in upfront costs we are risking.

It worked. Over 4000 of you bought your $10 tickets before hand. Only 609 $20 tickets were sold at the gate. WE DO NOT WANT OUR PATRONS TO PAY $20 AT THE GATE. The main purpose of the $20 ticket is to encourage our patrons to buy $10 tickets beforehand.
