Last Lap Lime 2011 - A SWEETA LIME

A SWEETA LIME, that’s what we are planning for 2011.

Back by popular demand is the “IDOL COMPETITION”, and this year we are extending the talent beyond singing.  The LAST LAP LIME IDOL COMPETITION will include song, dance, musical instrument, comedy, etc, anything with GOOD ENTERTAINMENT VALUE.  There will be an audition to determine the competition finalists.  The IDOL COMPETITION was a tremendous success last year and those who attended know how much fun we had.  So all you performers, don’t be shy, sharpen those talents and enter the competition for a chance to win a cash prize.  The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges, with input from the audience.

Also back this year by popular demand is the TUG-A-WAR COMPETITION between the rival High Schools, so please start flexing your muscles and getting your teams together.  And....this is just a start to what we have planned for this year – wait until you see the rest of the line-up.  We’ll have another update soon....so be on the lookout for it. Trust us, it will be a SWEETA LIME.

2011 LAST LAP LIME – A Sweeta Lime

WANNA BE COOL? CARPOOL!

 Join the in-crowd this year when driving to the Lime. Rather than coming one or two in a car, share a ride with someone else that you know is coming. Let’s be honest, everyone knows of a friend, a brother, a sister or a cousin that will be at the Lime, so why not do the cool thing and carpool? Our parking is limited – we only have space for 1,000 cars. If you carpool, you’ll be saving on gas, helping with the parking congestion and you can split the expenses of gas and parking with a friend or relative. Our parking is only $3.00, but the 1,000 spaces are gone fairly early in the day. The neighbourhood residents, and even the Church across from the Lime charge $10.00 to park in their yards when our lot is full. We just don’t understand why you would want to pay $10.00. Save money, save gas, save frustration and be COOL – CARPOOL. You will have a Sweeta Lime!
